Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Washington D.C. (Remote)
Clearance Level: Active DoD - Public Trust
Salary Range: $103,933 - $155,899 Required Certification(s): ·     Industry recognized cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CASP, CAP, CISSP
SUMMARYConsistent with the Federal Cloud First policy, the client continues to modify IT portfolio to take advantage of the benefits of cloud computing to maximize capacity utilization, improve IT flexibility and responsiveness, and minimize cost. The purpose position is to manage the existing Cloud Enclave environment, support migration efforts of other websites and web applications into the environment, ensure the security and compliance of the environment, and support the expansion and maturity of the environment through new technologies and solutions by applying and managing the RMF, while adhering to NIST 800-53 security control requirements.Maintain Cloud Enclave Authority to Operate (ATO) Package Cloud Enclave Continuous Monitoring Configuration Support Maintain Cloud Enclaves security posture and risk strategy

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES·       Conduct an annual assessment of system security and privacy controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations. One-third of the security and privacy controls must be reviewed at least annually and documented in the Security Assessment Report (SAR).·       The client seeks to mature its continuous monitoring capability by automating scanning and monitoring capabilities within the Cloud Enclave. Current configurations of projects/systems within the current Cloud Enclave result in manual, time intensive processes to maintain security compliance with client policy and procedures.·       Respond to and manage (track, report, etc.) all data call requirements. This includes HHS/OCIO, CISA, and any other compliance orders (typically 1-2 a month);establish a plan to comply and support Federal directives such as BOD 20-01, EO 14028, OMB M-22-09, etc..
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications·       Industry recognized cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CASP, CAP, CISSP
Education, Background, and Years of Experience·       Bachelors degree (required).
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills·       Hands-on experience with RMF, NIST 800-53, FIPS 199, NIST SP 800-60·       Hands-on experience with CSAM·       Hands-on experience conducting annual assessments of system security and privacy controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations
Preferred Skills·       Strong RMF understanding, management, and execution·       vulnerability management experience recommending remediation and/or mitigation of CVE findings
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions·       Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. General virtual office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within a virtual office environment - WFH, with standard office equipment available.
Strength Demands·       Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles.  Some occasional walking or standing may be required.   Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
