TACG is seeking an IT Enterprise Consultant to help transform the way Enterprise IT capability and infrastructure modernization are delivered to the Department of the Air Force to meet the rapidly changing IT landscape in order to keep pace with the requirements. The consultant will work directly within the customer's program office and assist with the acquisition, planning, and oversite of IT Enterprise projects. The consultant will help the customer adapt its acquisition delivery models, manage a complex web of stakeholders and continue to invest in the transformation of its workforce.

 Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Propel innovation and efficiencies across the HNI Division portfolio.
  • Identify overlaps and gaps for all capabilities being delivered by the division among programs or other Enterprise IT service providers
  • Drive identified process improvements to closure ensuring lasting change within the division.
  • Deliver a division wide strategic communication plan and stakeholders management plan
  • Lead conference preparation and planning by securing forums for program engagements and providing materials to prepare all program office members and leadership
  • Transform the Government from traditional acquisition processes to an agile workflow that leverages industry best practices.
  • Develop and deliver metrics and tools to evaluate Enterprise IT service providers leveraging industry best practices
  • Develop process flows and facilitate table top exercises to improves business processes
  • Develop a series of query based “drillable” reports BIM PMO can utilize and produce to identify optimize manpower under the GOCO business model or to reduce costs.
  • Develop criteria and operating model the BIM Program Management Office (PMO) can use to assess trade space as it pertains to manpower and staffing across the first 50 bases in the BIM pipeline.
  • Develop and support implementation of detailed training and procedures with implementation schedule to conduct Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) engagements no less than twice a calendar year.
  • Create visualizations of program cost, schedule and performance to track progress against key milestones
  • Inform key Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) stakeholders (Requirement Lead Command, SAF/CN, PEO C3I&N) on future cost of ownership under the Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) business model.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • BS in IT, Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience:
    • Experience in Air Force or Navy Enterprise IT, Communications, Networks, Systems and/or Cybersecurity
    • Recent experience, ability and availability to work at Hanscom AFB in-person (full or part time)
    • Experience in IT consulting and Enterprise IT as a Service project management of core Enterprise IT services at scale
    • Experience working on the USAF EITaaS program either in the OTA or Wave 1 CACI award
