Azure Sentinel Security Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy Azure Sentinel to collect, analyze, and correlate security data.
• Develop custom data connectors, queries, alerts, and playbooks to enhance detection capabilities.
• Monitor Azure Sentinel dashboards to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate on remediation.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to strengthen defenses.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support on Azure Sentinel capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors to integrate Azure Sentinel with other security solutions.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Azure Sentinel deployments.
• Proficiency in security analysis, incident response, and forensic investigation.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred.
• Willingness to travel abroad for short-term assignments.
