HI Partners is seeking an experienced IT Security Officer to join a reputable firm in Luxembourg. As an IT Security Officer, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing security measures to protect our company's computer systems and networks. You will analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and develop security policies and protocols. Additionally, you will oversee security awareness training for employees and monitor security incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and appropriate actions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyze potential risks and vulnerabilities to our computer systems and networks
  • Develop and implement security policies and protocols
  • Monitor and track security incidents and conduct investigations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards
  • Conduct security awareness training for employees
  • Implement and maintain security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
  • Responsible for writing and updating guidelines, concepts, processes, and detailed documentation pertaining to information and data security.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices
  • Perform internal audits and assess the need for procedural adjustments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to implement and maintain security measures
  • Conduct periodic security audits and assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proven experience in IT security roles
  • Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments
  • Understanding of various security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
  • Familiarity with security regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
