DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust Azure API solutions using PaaS services such as Azure Function Apps, Service Bus Queues, Azure Identity Management, Azure storage, Azure App Insights and others.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Containers, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Integrate various tools in the DevOps toolchain to accelerate development velocity while maintaining high standards for security and quality.
• Improve productivity by automating tasks via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Monitor and analyze the performance of implemented solutions, recommend improvements when necessary.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides.

 

About you:

• You like to own a topic and are willing to collaborate with an international team, to take the topic to the finish.
• Solid background with C#, .NET and have experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and PowerShell
• Strong experience in development and deployment of cloud native applications (preferably using Microsoft technology)
• Strong database (MSSQL) experience
• Hands on experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and microservices architecture.
• Experience incorporating best practices around logging, monitoring, and tracing of cloud-based platform.
• Hands on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide recommendations on best practices and suitable solutions.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to industry best practices, including security and compliance requirements.
• Continuously research and stay up to date on the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Analytical, conceptual, and problem resolution capabilities with strong communication and team work skills.
• Change embracing and forward thinking with strong "customer first" attitude with an emphasis on responsibility and ownership of customer requests.
