Senior Security Engineer - E5809

What You'll do

• Involved in delivery phases of the development and implementation:
• Construction, prioritization, and management of both the backlog and underway development activities.
• Development of code, documentation and any other artefacts required to convert the reference architecture to an implementation and run that effectively.
• Change management of existing artefacts to meet evolving needs.
• Collaboration and communication both intra and inter team, to ensure that the services are effective in delivering positive business outcomes.
• Participation in retrospectives to examine deliveries over a period, highlighting what went well and what needs to improve - then taking ownership to embed those learnings within the team.
• Work in an agile development environment, with a team of mixed development and infrastructure backgrounds, to ensure a mutually supported environment:

What you know

• Identify threats to cloud systems, develop new features to meet security needs, and build, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve cloud-based systems.
• Integrate companies’ cloud platform with its other technology systems, leveraging industry best practices in security and providing security recommendations to the development teams and identify security gaps on the platforms.
• Formulate and execute remediation plans to fill the security gaps on cloud platforms.
• Partner with architects and other engineers to deliver cloud security solutions.
• Play effective role in planning and architecting secure cloud system requirements to constructing, validating, and deploying the system to monitoring and detecting malicious activity once the system is deployed.
• Work with global cloud security and tech transformation teams to drive engineering of critical automated security capabilities into Experian’s enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience.
