Azure Security Engineer (Helsinki/Oulu)

What is this all about?

At OP Financial Group, we're currently in the process of transitioning to the Azure cloud platform, a technological change, when complete, will affect the daily lives of over 3.5 million Finns. To make this transition seamless, we're on the hunt for skilled professionals to join our growing numbers. 

We are currently building a new team within our Cyber Security unit and are seeking an Azure Security Engineer to join our new team. In this role you get to be on the front row seat to manage the shaping of our cloud security. Joining our new team, you will get to work closely with a variety of different professionals such as Cloud Engineers, Security Engineers, and Developers.

This opportunity is available in either Helsinki or Oulu, based on your preference. Like the rest of OP, we work flexibly, combining both office days and remote work. 

What we hope from you?

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in an enterprise environment, preferably in either a Cloud Security Engineer or Administrator role. Ideally, you already possess extensive knowledge and experience in security roles within Public Cloud environments. Also holding an AZ-500 or equivalent certification is considered a significant advantage.

Having a profound understanding of Azure Security tools and capabilities is essential for this role. The ability to effectively manage Azure security features at a technical level, as well as to develop, deploy, and operate new capabilities while addressing complex customer requirements, is key to success in this position.

In addition to technical expertise, we hope that you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As you will be working closely with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders, the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and clearly is critical. For this position fluency in both Finnish and English is required.
