Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a VP, Finance Process Improvement, Compliance and Optimization. This role will report to the Corporate Controller.

 

Responsibilites:

  • Maintain the SOX program, quality assurance and finance process improvement.
  • Direct engagement related to finance shared service activities. Monitor key financial metrics across the finance shared services teams to support the company achieving financial targets and execution.
  • Develop and execute broader finance engagement program working with CFO and broader finance team.
  • Coordinate with the Controller to establish efficient and effective processes for collaborating across teams to successfully deliver robust sustainability programs and ensure these processes are followed.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes.
  • Design and implement business process improvement initiatives.
  • Track and monitor progress on improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of all processes.
  • Provide training and support to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with process improvement initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and incorporate them into existing processes
  • Prepare reports and presentations to present process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and review performance of processes to ensure they are meeting objectives
  • This role requires an individual who is self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Deltek T&E, Hyperion, Cognos, and Workday

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
