Position Description
PingWind/Exeter is looking for qualified candidates to fil the role in support of CENTCOM J6 at Mac Dill AFB FL. This person will Support monitoring of all Information Assurance Devices (IADs) to identify and document all intrusions and attempted intrusions. Populates and maintains an intrusions database, and provides data analysis support; analyzes data from sensors, network security devices, and applications using the security information event management systems, log servers, application interfaces, and device consoles provided. Documents evidence of system security compromise, generates trend reports, and collects evidence of malicious or anomalous activity. Reports security incidents and/or network intrusions to Incident Handlers for dissemination to appropriate points of contact. Identifies anomalous and malicious activity. Contributes to content creation, and prioritize, rank, and escalate incidents. Assist in producing status reports and briefs to senior leadership; provide analysis for correlated information sources.
Primary Responsibilities
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:· Daily upkeep of IAD equipment· Document practices, results of scans and other admin functions as needed· Provide data analysis· Generate reports as the result of scans/operations performed· Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system· Help develop and maintain data management and governance standards, policies, and best practices, including metadata management, data quality management, master data management, data lineage, and other related areas.· Identify anomalous and malicious activity on the Enterprise and report findings up the chain· May participate in incident investigations as required· Be able to work closely with coworkers, lead teams, and brief government leadership
Required Qualifications
