Information Security Specialist

As an Information Security Specialist, your focus will be on application security testing. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

4 to 6 years Experience in conducting security assessments of complex systems, networks and applications using penetration tests and ethical hacking tools.  Preparation of status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.

Work with our development teams to provide recommendations and mentorship to fix issues that might arise!

Knowledge of secure coding practices.

Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the software development lifecycle (SLDC) and how to balance the recommendations of each against business priorities.

Experience in cloud-based application’s security testing for at least one of the below (AWS/AZURE/GCP)!

Conduct design and code reviews throughout the SDLC.

We expect you to have

Degree qualified in Computers Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.    

Capable of scripting in Python, Bash and also have experience with other languages such as Go, Java, Rust or C/C++.

• Education Required:  Degree qualified in Computers Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.    
• Experience Required:  At least 6 years
• Cloud and security certifications such as AWS, Azure, OSCP, CISSP, CNCF, SANS etc. 
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and evaluating vendors from information security risk perspective.
