Product Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Security Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in designing and delivering secure, resilient and safe products. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our products throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for our products to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and product managers to integrate security best practices into the development process.
• Implement and maintain security controls, tools, and processes to protect our products against security threats.
• Perform security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and address security issues.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to proactively mitigate risks.
• Participate in incident response and security incident management activities as needed.
• Provide security guidance and support to teams across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in product security, application security, or related field.
• Strong understanding of web application security principles, secure coding practices, and common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with security assessment tools, techniques, and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
