IT GRC Senior Manager

The IT GRC Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of IT governance, risk, and compliance programs within an organization. They collaborate with IT teams, legal, and business units to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, standards, and risk management practices.

Governance and Policy Development:

• Develop and enhance IT policies, standards, and procedures related to IT General Controls and IT compliance.

• Ensure consistent adoption and adherence to these policies across IT functions.

Compliance Monitoring:

• Establish processes for ongoing IT compliance monitoring.

• Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards affecting IT.

• Collaborate with internal audit teams to assess IT compliance effectiveness.

Third-Party Risk Management:

• Evaluate third-party vendors and service providers for compliance risks.

• Implement due diligence processes and monitor ongoing compliance.

Compliance Awareness and Training:

• Provide training to IT staff on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Foster a culture of compliance awareness.

Compliance Testing:

• Manage execution of compliance testing efforts for IT General Controls

• Recommend mitigation plans as needed.

Reporting and Metrics:

• Create comprehensive reports for executive leadership and the board.

• Track key performance indicators related to IT compliance.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT teams, legal, and business units to align GRC efforts.

• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay informed about emerging regulations, trends, and best practices.

• Continuously enhance the organization’s IT GRC programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP) are advantageous.

• Proven experience in IT GRC, compliance, or risk management roles.

• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, NIST).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
