 The Technology and Cybersecurity Compliance Professional 2 designs, maintains and oversees cybersecurity and technology assurance work across Humana to ensure that appropriate security controls, standards, and policies are implemented and upheld to account for technology and cybersecurity risks. The Technology and Cybersecurity Compliance Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

               

The Technology and Cybersecurity Compliance Professional 2 works with relevant stakeholders to ensure Humana’s information security systems and procedures are in compliance with regulatory standards, industry practices, and Humana’s established security controls. Develops and oversees the technology and cybersecurity compliance initiatives, programs, and projects for Humana. Ensures Humana and IT equities and groups are kept up to date with compliance policies. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

The position will support Identity & Access Management (IAM) audit and compliance activities.  As part of this team, your efforts will support ensuring Humana IAM controls are working as intended, having a direct impact on Humana’s goal of SOX/SOC reports free of significant issues.  This team is highly collaborative, working with various teams throughout Humana including Internal/External Auditors and various IT teams, ensuring compliance efforts and audits are supported and completed in a timely manner.  This is an opportunity to work with and get to know not only the IAM team, but other IT teams throughout Humana.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires bachelor’s degree or 5 years of technical experience.
  • 1-2 years of Audit experience
  • 1-2 years Compliance experience
  • Knowledge of Controls
  • Excellent Communication Skills.


Preferred skills:
Knowledge or experience with IAM

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
