Your Impact:

As a Lead Product Manager in the Security Business Unit, you will join a team at the center of innovation across OpenText. This is a dynamic and fast-paced team that works cross-functionally to define, design, build and launch the next generation of AI-infused network detection and response technologies. The ideal candidate should have a technical background, business acumen and customer focus. You can collaborate, create, and defend your vision of success and be willing to challenge the status quo. You will own the OpenText Network Detection and Response product strategy and be responsible for bringing next generation NDR features to market.  You will also collaborate closely with other Product Managers across OpenText and be a major contributor to our XDR strategy.

 

What the role offers:

As a Lead Product Manager, you will:

  • Bring extensive industry and organizational knowledge, applying advanced expertise in a specialty area.
  • Own and manage the OpenText NDR (Bricata) roadmap and product lifecycle.
  • Contribute across PM teams to evangelize the NDR offering and support cross-functional integrations.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and become the go-to expert for your assigned products/ features.
  • Passionately represent the voice of the customer/user to internal stakeholders, by developing a deep understanding of all relevant user types (how they work and think) through qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Write user stories/product requirements and work closely with Engineering and UX to implement them.
  • Possess 8-12 years of previous professional experience.

 

What you need to Succeed:

  • You are a self-starter who understands that delivering software is a team activity.
  • Previous Product Management experience delivering enterprise software.
  • Experience creating and delivering product roadmap presentations.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers to describe your vision and strategy.
  • Understanding of the XDR and NDR marketplace.

This job is expected to pay in the range of  $130,000/annum to $140,000/annum in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
