Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for providing guidance to the security organization through policy and education and helping protect information and systems against cyber-related and other threats. This role is actively involved in the key governance and risk management areas, including but not limited to, security training and awareness, policy management, information security metrics, data protection, security risk management, information security consulting, third party management, software security and security architecture.

What You’ll Do: 

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, standards, procedures, and documentation for information and cyber security.

• Assist in maintaining and continuously improving the Exiger Information Security Management System aligning to security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST 800-53.
• Work with various business units to ensure controls are adequate, appropriate, and effective.
• Assist in maintaining effective training and security awareness to increase employees’ cyber security knowledge and capability.
• Actively participate in information security audits and reviews to ensure Exiger is in continuous compliance.
• Support vendor due-diligence process and third-party risk management efforts.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships and communicate security related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical customers and key internal and external stakeholders.

What You Need: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working in consulting, IT or security. Experience in the governance, risk and compliance space is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Moderate to strong technological skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and privacy.
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities. A willingness to learn.
