What we need:

 

The Cloud Security Architect is a leading performer that works to create and drive the architecture and design patterns for our global cloud security architecture, for both hybrid and cloud-first models by leveraging creativity and comprehensive operational understanding to resolve a wide range of business issues. This role will perform analysis of existing cloud security and ancillary service configurations, design and create new or enhanced security improvements. The Cloud Security Architect will also provide consultative services and work with internal business team members and external vendors to collect requirements, design specifications, and create solutions that are aligned with our cloud security strategy.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Will spearhead cloud security strategy and architecture initiatives, provide guidance, and develop highly secure, compliant cloud environments.
  • Responsible for architecting, deploying, configuring, and maintaining security baselines within the Azure/ GCP and/or AWS cloud environment.
  • Set up and manage access to cloud resources using accounts, users, and groups.
  • Reports and track metrics, KPIs and KRIs with proactive escalations to maintain risk within acceptable appetite.
  • Provides oversight over the implementation of approved security architecture/policies/procedures.
  • Initiates and conduct project security reviews to identify cloud infrastructure security risks.
  • Implements core and cloud infrastructure security to manage risks and exposure.
  • Knowledge about potential vulnerabilities of virtual machines and container deployment systems.
  • Maintains a high-level of technical knowledge of platforms utilized throughout the environment.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership for IT teams establishing cloud infrastructure design, migrating data centers to cloud, developing infrastructure as code, or deploying cloud solutions.

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelors in computer and information Systems Security or similar
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with the design and implementation of complex solutions in medium to large enterprises
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience building and integrating systems in public or hybrid cloud environments
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with information security
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

  • Superior verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers and senior management and ability to communicate with others in stressful situations using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards. 
  • Strong technical knowledge, ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.   
  • Ability and willingness to accept responsibility, willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions, including the persistence and willingness to take calculated risk, and sell new ideas within the organization. 
  • Excellent leadership skills to effectively coordinate with a diverse global team to achieve results through team efforts, and the desire and ability to motivate and persuade activities of others. 
  • Ability to act as an advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching strategic decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation.  
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct 

 

What else?

 

  • Normal Office Environment. 
  • Domestic/International travel may be required occasionally, up to 20%/year.
