DevSecOps Platform Architect

Job Title: Platform ArchitectLocation: Manassas, VA (On-site)Duration: 6-month Temporary to HireHourly Rate: $55-$60 per hour
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy platform solutions to meet business requirements and drive innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Kubernetes and container technologies.Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.Provide guidance on best practices for platform design, deployment, and maintenance.Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on business needs.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to platform architecture.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as a Platform Architect or similar role.Strong expertise in DevSecOps principles and practices.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
