Summary of Role:

Asset Reality, a trusted leader in seized asset management, seeks an ambitious and proactive cybersecurity engineer who is looking to grow and make a difference.  

You will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures to protect our computer networks and systems. The role is to build, document, and administer the security systems, including monitoring and conducting security audits. In addition, you will research new security technologies and trends and keep up to date with the latest security developments.

Responsibilities 

  • Implement, monitor and maintain architecture-level concepts, security frameworks SOC, ISO, etc.
  • Build, integrate and manage security platforms to a corporate standard, developing secure enterprise business applications.
  • Work directly with the CSO and business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.
  • Implement an information security management framework.
  • Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.

Requirements 

  • Experience integrating security platforms in corporate environments or developing secure enterprise business applications.
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Experience with at least one high-level programming language. (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience building, operating, or maintaining AWS cloud-based platforms, as well as experience with cloud computing/elastic computing across virtualized environments.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with DevOps and application development teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
