Associate IT Security Engineer

Coupa Software is looking for an Information Security Professional to assist with the maintenance and development of the global corporate security program. This position will report to the Director, IT Security & Risk and will primarily focus on endpoint security controls within a zero-trust environment utilizing a cloud first approach to accommodate a remote workforce. This position will require a good understanding of both security and infrastructure frameworks as duties can range from threat hunting/log analysis to system administration or basic software development functions. Responsibilities :

• Maintain Endpoint Detection and Response for the Corporate environment.
• Maintain Endpoint system compliance configurations to ensure baseline standards are applied to Coupa information systems.
• Coordination with multiple departments to identify, triage, and remediate gaps in current security posture.
• Perform internal audits of systems against the numerous Coupa compliance programs.
• Support Coupa Vulnerability Management program to ensure tolerable system health.
• Respond to alerts generated by monitoring systems that require security investigation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Certification preferences Security +/CySA +
• Minimum of 3 years of overall experience
• Experience with Governance and Compliance process of FedRAMP, SOX and PCI
• Works well in a team or solo on various audit or security-related projects.
• Can learn effectively using self-teaching material.
• Has real-world Information Security implementation and support experience.
• Understands Cloud and Cloud Application design principles.
• Experience working with at least 1 programming language.
• Commitment to a learning mindset for all security and compliance-related items
• Familiar with PCI DSS, SOC2, FedRAMP, and other industry standard compliance standards.
