Senior Security Analyst (HashiCorp)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HashiCorp Expert to join our dynamic team. As a HashiCorp Expert, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions using HashiCorp tools such as Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure through the effective use of HashiCorp technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code, enabling efficient provisioning and scaling of resources.
• Secrets Management: Implement and manage secure secrets using HashiCorp Vault, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
• Service Discovery and Orchestration: Leverage Consul for service discovery and Nomad for workload orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and scaling of applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to understand their requirements and implement solutions that align with best practices.
• Automation: Implement and optimize automated workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security by implementing best practices, conducting regular audits, and staying abreast of security updates in HashiCorp products.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Troubleshooting: Provide expertise in identifying and resolving issues related to HashiCorp tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a HashiCorp Expert or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad.
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IaC solutions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and application security best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Excellent scripting and automation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications in HashiCorp tools would be a plus.
