Elevate Your Career at Moderna as the Site Compliance Head in Melbourne, Australia. Reporting to the Site Quality Head, this pivotal role is responsible for implementing world-class quality system processes and operations to ensure the highest level of compliance. The Site Compliance Head will provide strategic direction for the application of Moderna’s Quality Management System (QMS), facilitating health authority inspections, maintaining inspection readiness, and leading cross-functional efforts to build a culture of quality. 

Here’s What You’ll Do

Within 3 Months, You Will… 

  • Begin implementing Moderna’s Quality Management System (QMS) at the Melbourne site. 

  • Start providing cross-functional quality leadership and acting as a GXP compliance subject matter expert. 

  • Oversee the performance and effectiveness of QMS programs and lead Quality Risk Management initiatives. 

 

Within 6 Months, You Will… 

  • Lead Management review meetings and monitor the state of control of Moderna’s QMS at the site. 

  • Maintain the site in a constant state of inspection readiness, including hosting inspections. 

  • Evaluate business goals and identify improvement opportunities to enhance product quality and process effectiveness. 

 

Within 12 Months, You Will… 

  • Serve as the site compliance representative on Global Compliance Councils, contributing meaningful insights on QMS impacts. 

  • Work collaboratively with Compliance organizations across Global and sites, driving effective processes supported by digital e-systems. 

  • Build sustainable processes that enable compliant execution and improve the overall QMS lifecycle. 

 

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications) 

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Sciences or Engineering with applied Quality industry experience of 10+ years. 

  • Demonstrated experience with Pharmaceutical Quality Systems.  

  • Inspection experience preferred
