Your Role:

• Implement the Data Privacy program defined in the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) in Korea and Japan.
• Collaborate with business and functional colleagues to establish effective measures for reducing and handling Data Privacy risks.
• Provide comprehensive Data Privacy support and counseling to the respective business.
• Ensure awareness of Data Privacy program and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide timely and risk-based business support and counseling on Data Privacy matters.
• Implement DPMS considering local industry norms, laws, and codes.
• Foster Data Privacy awareness and handle data breaches in collaboration with the Group Data Privacy Officer and CoE Data Privacy team.
• Conduct educational and training programs on DPMS elements to create awareness.
• Support the Data Privacy Center of Expertise (CoE) and stay updated with Data Privacy trends.
• Assist with implementing Data Privacy strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Review and update local Data Privacy rules, standards, policies, and procedures in accordance with global standards and local laws.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field, or Master of Business Administration or IT near education preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in multinational company compliance or law firm.
• Profound knowledge of Data Privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with multinational corporate compliance and Data Privacy culture.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
• Experience and familiarity with European data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is a plus.
• Strategic thinking and ability to lead multiple initiatives independently.
• Strong motivation to develop a comprehensive Data Privacy program.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Lawyer's license is a plus.
• Pharma industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, Japanese language skills is a plus.
