The pay range is $126,600.00 - $227,900.00

The Penetration Testing team is looking for an experienced manager to lead our team of skilled security professionals in identifying and mitigating security risks through rigorous testing and analysis. As the Penetration Testing Team Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our organization’s systems, applications, and networks. If you are passionate about pentesting and leading a team of talented security professionals, this opportunity is for you.

  • Lead and manage a team of pentesters, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality security assessments.

  • Plan, coordinate and support pentesting engagements against a variety of applications and systems which may include APIs, web applications, networks, mobile, and infrastructure.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of pentest results, identifying vulnerabilities, and understand risks and potential impacts to the organization.

  • Develop and maintain standardized methodologies, tools, and procedures for conducting pentests.

  • Stay abreast of the latest security threats, attack techniques, and defensive strategies to continuously enhance the team’s capabilities by providing additional training and/or resources.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive testing reports to leadership team and technical teams.

About You

  • BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of security experience

  • 3+ years of managing teams within a security organization

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity and proficiency with pentesting tools and techniques

  • Deep understanding of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques.

  • Extensive experience in conducting pentests across a variety of platforms, environments and technologies.

  • Successful track record of working in large enterprise technology ecosystems leading complex technology teams

  • Deep understanding of agile development processes and methodology including continuous integration and delivery, with a mindset of building incrementally and delivering business value quickly

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
