The Team:

The Cybersecurity team is designated with the development and implementation of Viva’s cybersecurity strategy and architecture. Furthermore, the team ensures the improvement of the company’s security posture through a cross functional role with other departments along with the enhancement of the overall cybersecurity capabilities.

The Role:

As member of the Cybersecurity team, the cybersecurity engineer will participate in various security projects and is expected to be self-driven and work independently. The successful candidate will be delegated with different functions of security engineering, including cybersecurity architecture design, security solutions deployment as well as design and implementation of security measures and controls. Furthermore, it is expected to collaborate across multiple workstreams and roles in the Technology Group and coordinate different teams during the performance of his duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, applications and networks.
  • Coordinate and support technology functions in the implementation of technical measures to mitigate security risks and ensure network, systems, and application security.
  • Participate in the development of cybersecurity architecture by providing basic architectural and engineering analysis along with supporting the integration of security solutions.
  • Deployment, management, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and gaps and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and controls.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish certificate and asymmetric key management processes, procedures, and inventories.
  • Perform certificate and key management throughout the defined lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain security standards and procedures for security operations.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure secure and efficient operations by following design principles and leveraging SecOps methodologies.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer science, Information technology, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification related to the fields of cybersecurity and information technology.
  • Minimum five (5) years of working experience in cybersecurity with responsibilities such as cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, and security assessments.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CySA+, etc. will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in hands-on implementation of cybersecurity technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity solutions (MDM, EDR, SIEM, PAM, DLP).
  • Experience with certificate and key management.
  • Knowledge of core cryptographic concepts and principles including encryption, authentication, and asymmetric keys.
  • Knowledge of security standards & frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS).
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure environment
