This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

As a Senior Network Security Engineer at GoDaddy, you will play a meaningful role in safeguarding our network infrastructure and sensitive data. You will be tasked with multi-functional efforts such as defining and implementing next-generation network access policies grounded in the Zero Trust principles like micro-segmentation. Your expertise will be essential in assessing business risk, crafting robust security policies, and implementing automated solutions to proactively protect our network!

What you'll get to do...

  • Refine GoDaddy’s Zero Trust networking strategy and drive its implementation
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks tailored to the organization's specific needs
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define network security-related policies, procedures, and standards
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives related to network security improvements and compliance programs
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Monitor regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies to ensure compliance with relevant mandates (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA)
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership and regulatory bodies, highlighting compliance status and remediation efforts

Your experience should include...

  • 7+ years of experience in the Security engineering domain, building and operating large-scale & mission-critical networks
  • Strong proficiency in network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and secure authentication mechanisms
  • Proficiency in GRC frameworks, particularly in the context of network security
  • Proven expertise in program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess complex security risks and devise effective mitigation strategies

You might also have...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are preferred
