About the Position

The Frontend Engineer is an individual contributor position responsible for implementing features for customer and internal facing web applications based on designs and specifications, and maintaining these systems, and who partners with software engineers, UX designers, and product managers.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with software engineers, UX designers, and product managers to design and develop web applications
• Be on top of the latest and greatest technologies, tools, methodologies, and frameworks for frontend software engineering
• Fully own the systems developed by your team, taking part in deployment and operations.
• Support in developing your skills and accelerating your career
• Help in creating the long term vision of our architecture 
• You will have the opportunity to branch out into backend technologies and gradually become a part-time contributor to those components as well (to fix bugs or unblock frontend dependencies).

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• BSc or M.S in a relevant field; 3-5+ years relevant work experience
• Excellent communication and self-organization skills incl. working within and with other remote teams.
• Experience in modern Frontend development with TypeScript
• Knowledge of at least one component-based frontend framework
• Familiarity with Node.js based build tooling
• Appreciation for great UX and clean design
• Proficient at collaborating and communicating with both local and remote team members in English and Hungarian

You will have a fast start if you have experience:

• React, Cypress
• Cloud environments (AWS)
• Modern deployment environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
