Security Operations Engineer

We are seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join our team. At Yuno we are looking to solve the complexity of the online payment’s ecosystem. Allowing merchants and commerce to accept payments in an easy way, accessing a variety of payment services with just one integration and enabling end users to pay in an easy and secure way.

🟣 What would be my challenge at Yuno?
- Collaborating in the administration of other defensive security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, among others- Managing observability of the WAF by monitoring and analyzing generated events and alerts- Working collaboratively with other security teams to identify and mitigate risks- Identifying areas for improvement in information security and recommend appropriate solutions- Automating processes seeking task simplification and management optimization.- Implementing tools in the cloud and using IaC for deploying solutions.- Perform analysis of logs from a variety of sources (e.g., network traffic, hosts, application, databases, proxies) to identify and investigate potential threats.

🟣 What skills do I need?
- Experience with public clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Azure- Proficiency with common security tooling, such as SIEM (OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, Kibana), WAF, IDP, etc.- Knowledge of implementing and managing defensive security tools- Ability to analyze and resolve complex security problems- Having knowledge in programming languages such as Python or/and Golang- Flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
Desirable:- Knowledge of network security- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
