We are one of NZ’s biggest companies, you just don’t know it, because in true Kiwi style – we are humble about it (apart from right now maybe)!  Our Support Centre is 1,000 people strong, which includes 300+ IT employees, who all play a vital role in supporting our network of 330+ stores across the North Island.  We serve over 1.3 million customers every week in the most awesome little country in the world! About the role  As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be part of a key team within a customer focused, high performing IT Operations team, responsible for all aspects of IT security across the breadth of the FSNI (Foodstuffs North Island) enterprise, covering all FSNI Technology Systems and Services. Reporting to the Lead Security Engineer, this key role is responsible for:  ·       Conducting research to analyse security vulnerabilities and work to implement, run and maintain security initiatives and solutions to enhance the FSNI security posture.·       Developing security use cases covering the security risks across the FSNI technology systems and services landscape across all FSNI locations including but not limited to support centres, stores, distribution centres, data centres and cloud hosted solutions.·       Developing Security Incident Response Plans (SIRPs or runbooks) for all security use cases, providing automation where possible and participating in regular reviews and tests of these SIRPs·       Participating in security incident responses to potential and verified security breaches including investigation, forensic analysis, event documentation, reporting and remedial actions.·       Understanding and maintaining documentation regarding the attack surface across the FSNI enterprise technology landscape and develop skills covering the tooling and processes required to mitigate vulnerabilities across the attack surface·       Performing daily Threat Intelligence gathering and analysis to evaluate our landscape for exploitable vulnerabilities with a view to automating manual processes where possible·       Contributing to the review of and providing security related input into the design of new or changed technology solutions and services including participation in projects as appropriate·       Contributing to the development and maintenance of IT Security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines. ·       Liaising with vendors and service providers to configure and fine tune security solutions to meet FSNI requirements.·       Detecting and remediating gaps in monitoring / alerting related to IT Security and ensure that new / changed technology solutions and services comply with IT security monitoring & audit requirements·       Continuing participation in the DevSecOps guild to establish, promote and enhance DevSecOps culture and practices at FSNI·       Contributing to a culture of high performance, encompassing quality communication with key stakeholders, meeting customer requirements and managing customer expectations across the enterprise. ·       Participating in a roster to provide afterhours security incident response as and when necessary·       Providing support to the Lead Security Engineer as and when necessary·       Mentoring peers and team members About you  With a strong track record in IT Security roles preferably in medium to large enterprises you will have a sound understanding of the digital landscape, security technologies and modern policies and practices around cyber security.  Key experience to succeed in this role will also include: ·       Hands-on experience designing and implementing security technology,·       Implementing security policies / practices / solutions in an enterprise environment,·       Proven ability to problem solve highly complex issues across a large and complex enterprise system landscape,·       Working in an agile DevSecOps environment would be extremely beneficial. Your hobbies and pastimes are also likely to be technical or challenging.
