CyberGraph- An AI enabled Social Graphing Product to detect and differentiate between Normal and anomalous behaviors.
Mimecast is looking for a talented Senior Engineering Manager to join the Cybergraph Engineering team. You’ll play a pivotal role working on various roadmap items, teams, processes and people aspects to build and deliver the product features that delight our customers.

What You’ll Do
As an Senior Engineering Manager for the CyberGraph team, you will be instrumental in forming and scaling high-performing teams, offering dedicated support for individual growth and career progression. Your responsibilities will include:
- Build state of the art services, that enable our customers to protect their organizations against modern security threats
- Recruit, Mentor and provide technical leadership to build strong software engineering teams
- Work with Product Management, Architecture, UX, Developers and SDETs to deliver new product features on time
- Represent the team in design, progress, and sprint reviews with senior management
- Deliver tested, high-quality, peer reviewed code
- Drive Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, refinement, and sprint planning
- Take ownership and create accountability within the team
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong communication skills with experience in effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Successful track record of project leadership, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects with predictability.
- Strong technical background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in designing and developing highly scaleable, distributed backend services at scale.
- Experience in building and scaling high-performing engineering teams, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing talent development (coach & mentoring) in globally dispersed environment
- Experience in establishing and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to maintain high-quality software development.
- Ability and experience in formal supervision, hiring/retaining, coaching, mentoring, and guiding of the geographically distributed teams is a must.
- Strong conceptual object-oriented programming understanding and hands-on Experience with Java.
- Knowledge / Experience with Cloud based platforms and technologies, ideally AWS and
Agile/ Scrum setup Experience with Agile/ Scrum SDLC setup. - Ability to evaluate / improve existing and establish new engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
- Good to have experience in software security, security reviews and secure coding practices
- Any experience and understanding in working with AI/ ML/ predictive models would be added advantage
- Working experience with CI/CD deployments and Jenkins is desirable
