Your Career

Palo Alto Networks SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) group is looking for a seasoned and accomplished Solution/System QA/Automation engineer with experience in validating core networking & security features in the SASE team. You will be part of a world-class software engineering team that works on various ground-breaking technologies in the SASE/SD-WAN area. You will work with a multi-functional team of engineers solving interesting problems.

Your Impact

• Work in a small and fast-paced team to solve important customer problems and deliver the most impactful results
• Contribute to all phases of end-to-end product and solution validation
• Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve the best quality
• Suggest and implement improvements to the QA process 
• Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
• Lead, mentor and coach team members

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 10+ years of experience required with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent or equivalent military experience required
• Experience in highly technical roles in QA at large organizations or innovative startups
• Strong L2/L3 hands-on networking experience and ability to troubleshoot networking issues
• Hands-on experience with standard TCP/IP protocol suites which include HTTPS, SaaS Apps, etc
• strong understanding of VPN technologies, protocols(IPSec /SSL VPN), and security standards
• Experience in system/scale testing simulating & maintaining a large/Complex enterprise network is a plus
• Experience with performance characterization of networking products with  debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Experience in QA test automation on Cloud or Network security platforms
• Good programming experience with Python and RestAPI’s
• Familiarity with Network/Security traffic tools from KeySight(Breaking Point), spirent(Cyber flood) , viavi(TeraVm) , etc
• Good domain knowledge with cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP experience preferred)
• Familiarity with SASE concepts, including SD-WAN, Zero Trust, NGFW, CASB solutions and cloud security
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus, a willingness to adopt them is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
