Reliability Engineer - Product Cybersecurity

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer - Product Cybersecurity to join the Konecranes Reliability Center in Hyvinkää. In this role you will participate in product cybersecurity verification. You can influence in new feature implementation decisions and propose alternative solutions for better security posture of the product. You have a possibility to analyze security audits and test reports, and implement and execute security testing for different stages of product development. You can either be an expert with a few years of experience already, or a student at the end of your studies since the work changes along with your growing experience.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop security testing plans
• Development of security testing practices
• Help pilot and implement security testing tools
• Develop security testing guidance
• Help build DevSecOps pipelines and provide test automation expertise
• Perform threat and risk assessment, along with Vulnerability management and handling

You will work closely with product teams globally and support them in security testing practices. Work is focused on product security and product development teams, ranging from cranes, ports equipment, lift trucks, cloud systems, IoT, etc.

The role is based in Hyvinkää, Finland with opportunities for partial remote work from home office.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: 

• B.Eng/B.Sc or M.Sc degree in relevant field
• Experience with software testing and/or development
• Experience with relevant security standards, such as ISO 27001 or ISA/IEC 62443
• Familiar with security testing methodologies and tools
• Hands-on experience on secure coding and security testing
• Understanding of IACS’ is seen as advantage

In addition, to succeed in the role you are systematic and self-driven, with a can-do attitude and willingness to help others. You should have fluent written and oral English language skills, other languages e.g. Finnish will be an advantage.
