Job Description:

Looking for a new challenge? A vacancy for a Network Security Operation Specialist /Technology specialist has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Madrid (Spain).

You will join connectivity security team and will be responsible to guarantee robust, secure and effective end-to-end operations of Connectivity Security product, for Airbus Group, Remote sites (North America, India, China, Canada…), and Extended Enterprise Partners exchanges. Impact in case of failure could be lack of delivery of the Aircraft (including ramp-up), Sensitive data loss, Airbus users unable to work from home (remote working), suppliers unable to connect to Airbus information system. 

You will also contribute to the enhancement of daily connectivity security operation management with strategy update and automation tools (improve end to end delivery time and cost reduction). You shall then create and maintain strong operational relationships with partners, suppliers and internal business owners

Tasks and accountabilities:

  • Manage network security operation service: monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, restoration, incident management, day-to-day operation and services up and running

  • Maintain a proactive approach to operational and service issues, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met

  • Level 3 resolution of major operational and service problems; manage all related network crisis cell

  • Request Delivery, defend changes, manage all related network crisis cells 

  • Plan and schedule network security system upgrades

  • Responsible for obsolescence and maintenance of network security devices

  • Manage regular operational committees for tasks follow-up & communication reporting to track progress and/or issues.

  • Service reviews: monthly service level reports, and user experience meetings

  • Produce reports and communications to provide insight on the key highlights, low-lights, issues and risks.

  • Create relevant documentation and knowledge articles

  • Contribute to the enhancement of daily network security operation management with automation tools

  • Make recommendations for improving system performance, develop initiatives to provide continual service improvement, process adherence and enhancement

  • Create and maintain strong operational relationships with partners, suppliers and internal business owners

  • Take into account entry in service of new solutions in coordination with the project teams

  • Work closely with the rest of the Service Delivery network team to ensure that service capabilities are consistent and aligned to overall Service Management delivery strategy

  • Ensure network cybersecurity and integrity, in accordance to Airbus Security Policy

  • Participate in the development of short and long term department goals

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of working in an operational environment, alongside other technical and operational teams

  • Demonstrable experience of performing an ITIL aligned Service, Delivery Management role within an IT/Network operations

  • Knowledge of computing environments and network technologies

  • Building relationships and managing suppliers

  • Experience of identifying scope for improvement, process reviews and developing and implementing new processes

  • Lead the Technical aspect of Network security Service 

  • Technical reference in terms of development and operation

Your location
You will be located on the largest site in Spain for aircraft production in Getafe, with access to a Cercanias railway station and a shuttle availability to many areas of Madrid and cantine access. You will also benefit from a hybrid working culture in a multinational team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 4-8 years of development experience

  • Technical skills/experience for Infrastructure and Security Monitoring (e.g. Centreon or Zabbix, Splunk)

  • Technical skills/experience (at least 2 mandatory in the list below)

    • Network security platforms such as: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BigIP APM, Cisco ISE, Broadcom Proxy (former Bluecoat), Tufin, restorepoint, Syslog)

    • VPN client technologies such as: Cisco anyconnect, F5 APM Edge Client

    • Cloud security solutions: CASB, Cloud Internet Gateway (Netskope), AWS, Azure

    • Network security skills: VPN tunnels and architectures, Network Segmentation, Firewall Filtering, WebProxy Filtering, NGFW, IDS/IP, Network Access Control (NAC) 

    • Operation/Project toolings: SNOW / JIRA / Zoho / Splunk / Confluence

  • Communication skills/experience

    • International exposure. Travel may be required

    • Ability to synthesize, structure and vulgarize highly technical topics

    • Good communication skills

    • Negotiation level in English

    • Significant technical curiosity and willingness to learn
