The Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Digital Technology team is seeking a high-energy individual to lead our Global Cybersecurity Services IDC Team.  In this role you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team, and design and set forward the direction for supporting (5) domain areas; Global Compliance, Strategic Partnerships & Risk Management; Strategy & Transformation; Cybersecurity Defense/Operations; Security Architecture/ATO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor, a diverse Global Cybersecurity Services IDC team members by leading through encouragement and professionally sustainable support.
  • Integration within the Global Organization model – leading as one team within DT PW Organization.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, system administrators, information system owner (ISO) and project managers to help them satisfy the security requirements to attain an Authorization to Operate (ATO) accreditation for their systems
  • Ensure that changes to Information Systems, its environment, and/or operational needs that may affect the authorization status are reported to the ISO and ISSO (Information Systems Security Officer
  • Lead a team working Global Cybersecurity Services inclusive of supporting (4) domain areas; Global Compliance, Strategic Partnerships & Risk Management; Strategy & Transformation; Cybersecurity Defense/Operations.
  • Support the delivery of Global Cybersecurity Services 2023 Objectives; align with Domain Leads on IDC Team priorities and key deliverables.
  • Support PW efforts to build roadmaps collaboratively with internal Global Cybersecurity Services Teams
  • Be the focal for project management deliverables for current/growing IDC Team
  • Represent the current and future environment needs of Global Cybersecurity Services Teams

and assess impacts of all changes to the technical environment.

  • Develop strategies to implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery capabilities – obtain CORE Champion within first 180 days

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required) and minimum 16 years’ experience; or Master’s degree (preferred) and minimum 13 years’ experience.  Preferred fields include Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related business discipline(s)

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a team, including individual goal setting, performance management, and talent development.
  • Experience standing up new teams and building a positive professional culture.
  • Intentional Communicator, problem solving & facilitation skills.
  • 5+ years defining & implementing standards & best practices. 
  • Skilled in building business relationships 
  • Understanding of Work Intake Management & best practices 
  • Illustrated experience in building usable team metrics for continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Exhibited ability to analyze existing processes and workflows while delivering innovative solutions. 
  • Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 
  • Experience in systems security including but not limited to various computer hardware and software, operating systems, and application solutions in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations
  • Experience with information security toolsets such as anti-virus, vulnerability assessments, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Aligned to complete CORE Champion Training within 180 days joining organization – committed to continued CORE Training opportunities. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups.
  • Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills
  • Maintain status of ATO packages and upcoming expiration.
  • Maintain close working relationship with ATO team
  • 5+ years’ experience with Project Management and leadership of a technical team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and interest with ServiceNow tool and process workflow development
  • Familiarity with O365
  • Continuous Improvement & Process Improvement Certification (ex. Six Sigma)  
  • Project Management Certification(s) 
  • RMF, CMMI & CMMC Knowledge 
  • Ability to travel internationally if required
  • Willingness to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience
  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates
  • Comfortable working with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities
  • Experience with IT and/or network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for UNIX, MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Understanding of computer architecture, computer networking, operating systems and fundamentals of computer and network security
  • Experience with management of security frameworks, NIST 800-171 preferred.

Experience with vulnerability scanning, risk assessment and mitigation strategies
