Global Technical Lead (Independent consultant)

Resultance is recruiting a Global Technical Lead (freelance consultant) for one if its clients.

In the context of a global digital transformation, we are looking for a Global Technical lead.

The primary purpose of the global technical lead is to manage/coordinate all the technical activities relating to the project: infrastructure-hosting, solution architecture, cybersecurity, data, middleware, OS, team empowerment and upskills.

Main activities & Scope:

➢ Strategy, Governance and Organization

✓ Develop and implement IT strategies and solutions that align with the organization's IT objectives.

✓ Set up the Technical Model to orchestrate, run and operate deployments, based on the Management Framework:

• Business Focus: Establish and/or Increase Business and IT integration.

• Business Value: Enable business process innovation and efficiency.

• IT Cost Excellence: reduce the total cost of ownership of IT.

• IT Service Excellence: Improve customer satisfaction and create new capabilities.

➢ Technical activities:

✓ Design architectures on all the technical layers (infrastructure, OS, DB, integration, security, cloud).

✓ Define the release management strategy, the landscape and processes.

✓ Manage the technical integration for deployments and upgrades (basis installation, infrastructure deployment, basis configuration management, BTP integration,solution delivery, post golive support model).

✓ Manage, coordinate and animate the Enterprise and Architecture Technical stream.

➢ Continuous Success:

✓ Use existing programs, tools and services for the right purpose and develop innovation roadmap.

✓ Project Management: Manage the technical teams ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

✓ Organize the existing maintenance and support activities in line with IT Service management best practices and DevOps principles.

➢ Information and Knowledge management

✓ Manage Data and Information with the team best practices of service delivery and documentation.

➢ Team Leadership.

✓ Lead and manage the internal and external stakeholders.

✓ Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.

➢ Security and Compliance:

✓ Define the program design for access, user authorizations and operations security in line group standards: GRC integration (RBAC) + nextlabs integration (ABAC), user group management, traceability and audit, detect & react, business continuity, KMS, KPI’s.

✓ Collaborate with the CyberSecurity team to ensure the security of the existing systems and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

✓ Manage 3rd party partners.

Experience:

➢ Strong experience and knowledge in technical IT architecture in complex environments.

➢ Strong experience and knowledge in data and integration.

➢ Strong knowledge and experience in cybersecurity.

➢ SAP technical rollout experience is mandatory.

➢ Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is considered a big plus.

This is a role for an independent talent. Start date is ASAP. Initial contract 6 months with up to 2 years extension afterwards.

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Belgium and to the US.
