Job Description

Information security is an integral part of Visa’s corporate culture. The successful incumbent will be part of Visa’s Business to Business Identity & Access Management team, which is part of the larger Cybersecurity organization. The B2B IAM team has a Global focus, and is responsive to an evolving threat landscape, regulatory compliance, IT security requirements and technology architecture. The B2B IAM team is responsible for secure access to business portals and associated services.   

Essential Functions

• Contribute to development of new products by building quick POCs and converting ideas into real products

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and exceeds expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology

• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner

• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and follow the guidelines

• Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance

• Interface closely with project/product team members such as Analysts, Developers, Technical Product Managers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, Network & Security Engineers, Operations Personnel, System Engineers, etc.

• Ensure development work adheres to Visa Development Management Methodology (DMM), Visa’s Technical Security Requirements (TSR) and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) Work with various project team members to ensure technology are business driven and meet business requirement.

• Provide level 3 development support for production issues and service requests

• Build and maintain working relationship with many global development teams and engineers. 

• Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to products, standards, best practices, and development methodologies

• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
•6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
•8+ years of relevant experience with software design, architecture, and development life cycle
•Full Stack Software Development experience in large scale mission critical applications
•Be passionate about technology and solving large-scale complex business problems.
•Be an established self-starter who possesses a relentless drive to initiate change, raise the technical bar and deliver result
•Experience in software design and application development of a large scale system
•Mandatory experience with n-tier web application development and experience in Java/J2EE frameworks, Hibernate and Spring/Spring Boot
•Mandatory Experience working on UI/Web development using Angular/React, JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML/CSS technologies
•Knowledge in data modelling and SQL programming is required
•Working experience with following OS, middleware and database systems - JBoss Web Server, Apache Tomcat, Redhat Linux, MS SQL Server, LDAP, Message Broker.
•Experience with following open source development tools : Eclipse, Maven, Jira, Jenkins, ArtifactoryPro, Git/Bitbucket
•Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development, design and production issues
•Ability to understand application system topology at all levels
•Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization and be effective in achieving task assigned
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•Experience working with Restful APIs
•Experience with full stack development desirable Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with following tools like Selenium, Checkmarx
•Some working experience with web services standards and related technologies. E.g. WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT, CXF, REST and SOAP
•Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes experience will be plus point
•Skills in creating testable components, writing unit tests and knowledge of front-end testing frameworks
•Experience in designing and engineering rich user interfaces
•Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timelines
•Ability to deliver on multiple projects and manage priorities based on changing directions
