Cybersecurity Systems Analyst

The Opportunity:

Warnings about cyber threats are everywhere and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the DoD, Joint Staff, and Combatant Commands (CCMD). In all of this “cyber noise”, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you – a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As a Cybersecurity Enterprise Strategic Planner on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with Joint Staff to discover their cyber risks, understand policies, and develop a mitigation plan for the Strategic Cybersecurity Program (SCP). You’ll provide cyber threat analysis functions to support SCP reviews of both future and legacy systems' cyber survivability risk posture and assist the Cyber Council in managing the SCP. You’ll draft, facilitate, and track the formal submission of cyber survivability intelligence requirements for an adversary cyber threat database for the decision-making of DoD Cyber Leaders and SMEs. You will facilitate senior DoD stakeholder meetings between the Joint Staff, CCMDs, Services, and Agencies. Provide support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analyses, and briefings. Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones with cyber vulnerability analysis. You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission. This is your opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in Cybersecurity supporting a highly effective DoD client. Join us as we protect the DOD's cyber capabilities.
