We are looking for a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Gogolook. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of Gogolook while ensuring security measures are integrated seamlessly throughout the development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, build and maintain automation tools, and contribute to establishing a robust DevSecOps workflow.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the backend infrastructure of Gogolook.
• Build and maintain various microservices and work to improve their performance.
• Build and maintain automation tools for deployment, server provisioning, and other various operations.
• Assisting Gogolook in establishing a DevSecOps workflow.
• Diagnose and solve technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on software development experience in languages such as Python, Scala, Java, Golang, etc.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience deploying infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform in AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Understanding DevSecOps practices and why to use them (e.g. CI, CD, Infrastructure as code, automated testing, shift-left security…etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with container technology such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least some of our middleware and databases: NGINX, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Mongo.
• Familiar with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience in contributing to the systems architecture of a company.
• Familiar with AWS, GCP, or other cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with implementing best practices for cloud information security.
• Experience DevSecOps practices.
