Job Description

The Information Security team is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to be at the forefront of designing, developing, and securing our cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services. Your role will encompass optimizing resource utilization, implementing robust security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet their specific requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that directly impact Vuori's success and security. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Develop, implement, and manage security measures and controls to protect Vuori’s cloud-based systems and infrastructure. 
  • Participate and assist in setting the long-term direction, roadmaps, and standards for technical solutions, ensuring they align to the overall enterprise architecture. 
  • Analyze existing cloud structures and create new and enhanced security methods. 
  • Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and system tests to ensure the effectiveness of security measures. 
  • Collaborate with Tech and Business Application teams to integrate security protocols into new and existing cloud deployments. 
  • Evangelize and implement security best practices through education, automation, and tooling. 
  • Motivated to gain knowledge of security techniques through formal and informal cybersecurity training opportunities (such as on-the-job training, mentorship, training courses, knowledge assessments). Contributes to development of relevant applications and systems. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a cloud security role with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • Security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CEH, GSEC, or equivalent. 
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Network Engineer, or Cybersecurity Architect Expert. 
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID background 
  • Proven experience in cloud security and DevSecOps, including best practices, risk assessment and compliance requirements. 
  • Experience with cloud access security brokers (CASBs), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and other security technologies. 
  • Microsoft Sentinel and other Advanced security capabilities (Defender for 365 and Identity). 
  • Conditional Access (Compliance and conditional access policies, device compliance policy, conditional access policy) 
  • Working knowledge/experience with Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs. 
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles and frameworks. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Detail oriented, organized, follow up skills with an analytical thought process. 

Additional Information

Pay Range: From $140,000-$165,000/yr
