Job Description: As the Network/Security Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our network and security operations. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth and secure operation of our network infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to maintain a robust and reliable network that meets the needs of our organization while also ensuring the security and integrity of our data.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network and data.
• Monitor network performance and security, identify and resolve issues, and optimize network performance.
• Manage and support the company's network security systems, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, and other security tools.
• Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach or network outage.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies and recommend security enhancements to management.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the IT team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• years of experience in network administration and security.
• years of experience with network infrastructure design and implementation.
• years of experience with security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, are a plus.
