About the Role:

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify, mitigate, and systematically address vulnerabilities, ensuring the resilience and integrity of our platforms.
  • Work alongside our active community of researchers within our bug bounty program to assess the impact and severity of identified vulnerabilities, prioritizing fixes and enhancements.
  • Assist our incident response process by contributing to established incident response protocols, aiding in the swift identification, containment, and remediation of security threats to maintain operational integrity.

About You:

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.
  • Experienced in writing helpful tooling in a modern language (e.g., Python, GoLang, or TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • A solid grasp of vulnerability management, and a keen engineering empathy.
  • You are experienced with communicating risk and technical details.

Bonus If You:

  • Experience with open source software (OSS) security or contributions.
  • Cloud security expertise and an engineering background.
  • Comfort working in a distributed, asynchronous team setting.

Benefits:

  • Great compensation package and stock options.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off - Flexible vacation policy with a recommended 4-weeks per year, and paid holidays.
  • Remote Friendly - Work with teammates from different time zones across the globe.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $161,000.00 - $209,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location.
