Focus of the Role
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security solutions for various security products and services. You will also work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

What You’ll Do
The Senior Security Engineer will design, deploy, and manage the security and compliance capabilities of various security technologies. You will need to have a deep understanding of different security technologies such as SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response, Secure Service Edge, Vulnerability Assessment to name a few.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of technology consulting engagements; supporting with solution designs, implementation plans and costing estimations.
  • Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills to document and present customer-facing information to a high standard. 
  • Support the identification of potential business development opportunities, collaborating with your team to help qualify, develop, and close new opportunities.
  • Apply a continuous learning and development mindset to your work, investing time and effort into building your knowledge, skills and understanding of industry best-practice and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct research and generate insights to help translate customer needs into leading-edge technology consulting solutions.
  • Leverage standard methodologies, tools and processes to test and evaluate solutions, both during and post implementation
  • Take ownership of your own actions and accountabilities, seeking guidance from more experienced team members to support your development and contribute to the delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and seek to mitigate risks and issues to service delivery, escalating to more senior team members when additional support is required to resolve problems.
  • Leverage sound inter-personal skills to build relationships and credibility with key internal (i.e. Sales, Delivery and Project teams) and external (i.e. customers, technology vendors) stakeholders

About You


We seek the following expertise:

  • Extensive experience in Cyber Security
  • Proven background in Managed Security Services industry.
  • Experience in building, implementing, integrating, and deploying of various security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, SSE, VM, etc.
  • Experience as a Security Architect designing security environment/infrastructure based on customer requirements.
  • Required experience in Microsoft Security (Sentinel, MDE, Email Security, etc.)
  • Required certifications such as Microsoft’s AZ-500 and SC-200
  • Experience in working with Security Operations Centres (SOCs)
  • Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST and other relevant frameworks
  • Preferably with any GIAC, Security+ CISSP and/or CEH certifications
  • Amenable to work in onsite on a SOC environment.
  • Optional experience or understanding about Threat Hunting
  • Optional experience in writing scripts using Python or KQL
  • Optional writing and speaking skills (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and/or Japanese)
