Job Description

In a nutshell

As part of the Security Intelligence team, you will be assessing and reducing threats to Eurofins.

You will be responsible for tracking targeted campaigns and threat actors, analysing intrusions, utilising data gathered through incident response, discovering our threat surface, and analysing and translating threats to Eurofins’ infrastructure and leveraging intelligence to improve the security posture.

Where will you be based and what business will you support?

You will join the Security Intelligence team in Katowice. You can work remotely, but please note that due to local legal requirements, your place of residence must be within Poland.

How can you help us? 

Your main responsibilities as a Security Intelligence Consultant are to digest and process Open Source information and translate threats to Eurofins; work on Threat Intelligence Platform to document findings and analyse incident data; and participate in activities to improve the security posture of Eurofins.

As an Information Security Consultant, you will work closely with Threat Hunters, Information Security, Project Managers, business representatives and the vendor to address product development requirements. You will assist on multiple policies defining security measures, handle technical issues/risks and participate in incident handling activities.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

We are looking for a specialist with minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Security Intelligence Analyst, IT Security Engineer or IT Security Analyst. You need to have 4 years of general experience in IT sector.

If you have experience in using security monitoring tools (and beyond) in order to find threats, outside of regular reactive patterns, and experience in working with MISP and Security Intelligence solutions and analysing large data sets, we are looking for you.

You should also have strong critical analysis skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and structure large volumes of information while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy; experience in using analytic and visualisation tools and regex; experience with industrial taxonomies such as Cyber Kill ChainMiTRE’s ATT&CK, STIX 2.0 and Diamond Model.

The ideal candidate would also have the skills to analyse attack vectors against a particular system to determine attack surface, the ability to produce contextual attack models applied to a scenario and demonstrate intrusion sets using cyber kill-chain and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures.

Appreciated

It is preferred that you have experience in writing automation scripts (PowerShell, Python or other) and relevant Technical Security Certifications (GIAC, Offensive Security, CISSP etc.).

Education required:

B.Sc. or comparable education in Information Technology or Information Security.

Languages

As you will be working in an international environment, you should have strong English skills (oral and written).
