Responsibilities

Keysight is looking for a creative and security-minded individual to fill an internship opportunity on their ATI research team in Austin, TX. In this position, you will be focused mainly on performing blackbox fuzz testing of IoT devices using a range of different protocols in order to discover new security vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for finding an appropriate target device, fuzzing the device using Keysight's IoT Security Assessment appliance, and designing a compelling and reproducible demo for the vulnerability. You will also have the opportunity to work with seasoned security researchers in order to root cause your vulnerability, work with the device vendor to get the vulnerability patched, and possibly turn it into a fully-functioning exploit.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of security concepts and network protocols
  • Experience with Python and Docker
  • Fuzzing and exploitation experience is a strong plus

 

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2024. Applicants who have graduated before September 2024 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

 

Texas Pay Range: $45.36 - $51.83  

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
