We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with a passion for automation and experience in securing cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure, infrastructure as code and automating security services and/or processes. They should be confident with cloud provider security services and features.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in security automation of core security and technology services.
  • Support security processes such as cloud management-automating, scaling, and management of cloud platforms.
  • Review and test new automation technologies for the Trust & Security programme
  • Participate in enterprise-wide projects and programmes requiring security and cloud security input.
  • Deliver cloud projects from planning through successful deployment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cloud security within Fenergo providing consultancy, compliance, and risk assessment services for cloud infrastructure
  • Work as part of the security team to align security deliverables with legal, regulatory, compliance, best practice and contractual requirements that conform to security common framework and standards.
  • Conduct informal hands-on knowledge transfer sessions whilst providing technical mentoring and awareness on product and its features.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and participate in product specific workshops, with your ‘security-hat’ on. Help to identify paths to reduce cyber risk by being proactive and solution orientated. 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years working experience designing, building and/or implementing cloud-based technology services.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Cloud-based identity access controls
  • Strong background in Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure and with cloud provider security services and features
  • Strong experience with Cloud provider native security controls such as IAM, web filtering, DLP, email security, and web security
  • Experience with information lifecycle management and network and infrastructure security
  • Practical experience of addressing cyber-security in hybrid on-premises/cloud environments as well as migrating to cloud environments
  • Ability to implement service type security solutions, managed and measured
  • A strong technical background in Security technology stacks
  • Good knowledge of international security standards - ISO270001
  • Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple sensitive initiatives
