Senior Application Security Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Uncover vulnerabilities, threats, risks in a software application and prevents malicious attacks from intruders
• Identify and mitigate all possible loopholes and weaknesses of the software system which might result in a loss of information, revenue, repute at the hands of the employees or outsiders of the Organization
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and other security testing activities to identify security risks and vulnerabilities of our web and mobile applications.
• Develop test plans and test procedures for evaluating the security of software systems.
• Develop security test cases and scripts to be used in manual/automated testing environments.
• Evaluate software systems for compliance with industry and government security standards and best practices. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work with development operations, development and System Engineering teams to develop and implement monitoring and security solutions in stand-alone and embedded product software and supporting applications.
• Protect applications in compliance with multiple, global privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks.
• Must have experience with tools such as FRIDA, MobSF, Metasploit, BurpSuite Pro, and be able to root and jailbreak mobile devices

What You Have:

• 4+ years of experience in Web Application Security and cyber security domains
• Experience with detecting vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques using manual or automated tools.
• Experience breaking application security for both internal and external facing web and mobile applications.
• Strong experience with common security tools; Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Burp, Zap, CAIN, Linux Kali, Frida, Objection, etc.
• Security testing experience (red teaming, cloud security, application security, or network security)
• Experience with penetration testing and application authentication.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure hosted applications or VM’s.
• Ability to triage, reproduce, and recommend remediations for vulnerabilities.
• Good understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
• Advanced security certifications like Certified Ethical Hacker
• In depth knowledge of SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches
• Experienced with CI/CD/Devops methodologies/tools and practical implementation of DevOps processes.
• Degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/information Technology/MIS)
