IT Security Operations Analyst

The Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the safeguarding of data and systems within Orora, making you a key player in our ongoing security efforts. You will be a vital part in securing our organisation's digital assets while gaining valuable experience in both systems, network infrastructure, and information security. You will work extensively with regional teams in the US, Australia, and Europe to improve the global security posture at Orora. 

The role reports directly to the Orora’s Chief Information Security Officer based in the US, but, will work out of our Hawthorn Head Office in Australia. 

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to maintain industry best practices
• Work with Enterprise IT and business OT staff to ensure on-going analysis, review & continual improvements of the cybersecurity for IT/OT infrastructure
• Review security threats and perform vulnerability assessments
• Analyse permissions/application/SSO configuration and make security recommendations
• Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analysis in the event of security incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of security events 
• Support audit activity program in region
• Perform on-going education & simulation of security events

About You

• Certificate or Degree in IT or another related field
• Previous experience in cyber security, IT Infrastructure and Networking
• Strong understanding of IT Vulnerability management and Security Incident Response
• Systems Experience; Cisco, Active Directory/AzureAD, Wintel, Mac, Linux – highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills – specifically knowing how and who to escalate key IT security concerns to – across multiple regions and cultures
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
