What You Will Bring to the Team:

The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for providing advisory and solutions to our largest enterprise customers and helping them address their biggest security concerns. The security consultant identifies and prioritizes security-related requirements, promotes security-by-design principles, and facilitates the delivery of security services like security assessments, platform hardening and control implementation in cloud environments.

A successful candidate must have a strong technical background with extensive knowledge as SOC, Cloud Security Engineer, DevSecOps (SRE) Engineer with security specialty, or Security Architecture Engineer. 

Your day to day:

• Vulnerability management and vulnerability MGMT Tools (qualys, teenable)
• Knowledge of attack vectors and threats (threat analysis)
• Security and patch management principles.

Are you a fit?

• In-depth experience in medium to complex computing environments, with advanced knowledge in security technologies and services
• An understanding of how security interfaces with all other components of IT systems
• An analytical mind for problem solving, abstract thought, and offensive security tactics
• Practical experience in some or all of the technologies listed below:

1. Security incident/event management systems (SIEM)
2. Cloud environments (AWS, GC, Azure)
3. Various operating systems (e.g. Linux, MacOS, and Windows)
4. Possess a high-level overview of risk-intelligence and security awareness
5. Understanding of Security Compliance
6. Endpoint security
7. Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication)
8. Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers
9. Be able to work with others and fit with IT & Security team

Nice to Have

• SOC background.
• SIEM (data dog, splunk) experience.
• Knowledge and experience with other cloud providers  (Azure, GCP)
• DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Certifications like CCSP, CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect or similar certification is a plus but not mandatory.
