Job Description

Network Security Engineer for Ashburn Consulting, LLC to report to our Leesburg, VA HQ location but working at multiple unanticipated locations in USA.

Troubleshoot network solutions to support client’s communications needs.

Teamwork to support ops & ensure no impact to services to enterprise network.

Work with all relevant tools on implementation of Firewalls, remote access VPN solutions, & cloud security(sec).

Network switching/routing & configure network devices.

Communicate & support security policy, deployment, & support needs.

Teamwork to manage security of enterprise network & enforce policies by updating & configuring security devices.

Communicate complex security concepts & mitigate security issues.

Work with Info Sec, Network & Server Infrastructure teams on operations task, & evaluation & testing new solutions.

Writing & presentations.
 

Qualifications

Requires communication skills.

Must have bachelor's in computer science, IT, or related field; and 4 years relevant exp in IT Security and Networking and required skills. Alternatively, will accept 8 years related experience in IT Security and Networking and required skills.

Requires the following skills (4 years' experience): data communications, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Cisco Network Device Configuration, and technical documentation/network diagram creation.

May undergo background checks including drug screen & reference check.

Additional Information

Wage: $127,524 annually.
