Position Overview

Join the dynamic, supportive and collaborative Cyber Security team at Acentra Health. Embark on an exhilarating journey as a Cybersecurity Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our dynamic and collaborative environment, playing a crucial part in tracking and briefing the security status of both cloud service providers and on-premises systems. You'll contribute to writing and reviewing security documentation, ensuring the integrity and resilience of our cloud products and environments. 

Collaborating closely with Engineers and Administrators, you will provide invaluable insights into security guidelines and protocols, fostering a culture of proactive security awareness. Your responsibilities will include conducting security audits and compliance tasks for cloud applications, ensuring our systems adhere to industry standards and regulations. Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements such as FISMA, MARS-E, and HIPAA by actively participating in assessments for Authority to Operate (ATO) for systems.
  • Apply expertise in NIST 800-53 and HITRUST frameworks to effectively implement security and incident management plans, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures.
  • Serve as a key liaison between program managers and Cybersecurity leaders, facilitating thorough analysis, assessment, and adherence to stringent security guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of security posture and vulnerabilities within both cloud architectures and on-premises systems, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Maintain the accuracy and relevance of technical security documentation deliverables, including system security plans, incident response plans, and contingency plans, through regular updates and reviews.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) for the investigation of suspected incidents, ensuring prompt customer notifications in alignment with contractual obligations

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in Security Policy Documentation, encompassing POA&Ms, SOPs, Contingency Plans, and SSPs, showcasing a comprehensive grasp of security protocols and procedures.
  • Strong time management skills, adept at handling multiple processes concurrently while upholding high standards of quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and maintain self-motivation, particularly in remote work settings.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems like Alert Logic, showcasing the ability to interpret data and deliver concise reports to management.
  • Familiarity with additional cybersecurity tools such as ZenGRC, Varonis, and Zscaler is advantageous, reflecting a dedication to staying abreast of industry trends and technologies

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $78,000 to $97,000 annual salary. Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level. Thank you.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $96,000/annually
