We are the responsible unit for Cyber and Information Security activities across Julius Baer. As critical business enabler, we support our stakeholders from the different departments in regard to our security requirements and controls. This goal is achieved by actively providing advice from the very beginning of an activity and supports the projects with a “security by design” approach.

Do you want to contribute directly to our business success by making sure, that our initiatives (CtB as well as RtB) are well advised and supported and the implementation of meaningful security measures are covered? This is what your role as an Information Security Officer (with focus on application security) will be centred on

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Collaboration with business, application, domain and technical architects, as well as employees from all IT disciplines and support them to develop solutions which ensure an adequate level of Information and Cyber Security

• Advice, consult, review and approval of the respective documentation like architecture blueprints and security concepts to ensure that Information Security requirements previously formulated are fulfilled

• Accompany RFI/RFPs for new services or solutions to ensure, that the security by design principle is fulfilled and further act as an SME to support our stakeholders

• You plan assessments and check whether documentation and reality matches - this creates transparency and is improving Julius Baer’s security posture

• Assist with the review of the respective Requirements, Policies, Standards and Guidelines

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in preferably Information Technology or Information Security (Bachelor / MAS) and further certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP)

• A strong working knowledge of current IT risks and security implementations

• Experience in coordinating and collaborating with different teams and stakeholders and further to explain and discuss but as well to enforce security measures

• High understanding of banking business or the flexibility to familiarize yourself with new topics

• Analytical mind-set and passion to approach problems unconventionally and deliver pragmatic results

• You convince with extensive knowledge in the field of cloud & /on-premises security, Microsoft technologies and platforms (M365, Azure, ADFS and hybrid scenarios) would be a plus

• Proven written and verbal communication skills in English and German
